From daily lesson plans, student examples, to the weird and indescribable things my 7th graders do.

I love this picture. While silent reading, this student asked for a mirror. I led him to my wall of mirrors so he could decipher a message in his book. THIS IS THINKING WHILE READING. Instead of just moving on and hoping the book would reveal the hidden message, he took the time to solve it on his own.

One of my students from my first year. she is now a freshman and finds time in her hectic schedule to visit me once or twice a month. THIS IS MY WHY.
This morning, while welcoming the kids into school, I had a student walk up to me with this cake. She made this for me as a thank you for all I do. Again, this is my why. Also- this cake was delicious. I shared with Lia and I’ve practiced great self-control and have a LOT leftover!

I was lucky enough to attend the quarter finals basketball game. This sweet peach has been my mini me for 3 years now!
A quick little classroom tour. While I’ve rearranged my furniture a few times, the walls remain the same! I keep my lights off, & keep my diffuser on (7th graders smell)
